that face is too spooky, and made me jump a bit. creepy is right, but in that brilliant matto kinda way.

~xlnt scene and moment, perfect in b&w; I'd suggest a bit more room on the right if you cropped any off, the vertical presentation just seems a bit crowded on the right as it is here~

there's no cropping... just a poor composition in camera. it was a really fleeting moment, and i had to avoid someone who was walking just camera right. i thought about cropping the left and top a little to centre the sitting man, but then i would lose too much of the curtains above the boy's head... and i think i like the white flame-like stuff on the top left anyway. in the end i'm not so sure i mind the crowded slightly off-balance feeling.
