this is a really nicely done candid shot. Or its a very natural looking posed shot. Either way I like it a great deal. the muted colors and shallow DOF complete the image for me. Nice work
Posted by Carter Rose at February 22, 2006 11:20 AMthanks carter. it's candid. cheers.
Posted by matto at February 22, 2006 11:45 AMI really like the picture. I always feel akward taking pictures of people, I hate being invasive. Hopefully one day I'll get over that fear.
Posted by Samir at February 22, 2006 05:05 PMYou captured a nice moment here. I wonder what she was looking at... or what she was thinking about. I enjoy the shallow depth of field also.
Posted by afraidtosee at February 23, 2006 11:03 AMI like the detail in the womans face. And how the background is blured.
Posted by kyle at February 23, 2006 09:13 PMvery nice natural portrait, good use of shallow dof.
Posted by Gustav at March 2, 2006 09:24 AMThis portrait - like most of your photos - is very nice, except that the look of the out-of- focus lights on the right middle is not so beautiful. Helas, Canon should finally bring a newly designed 50mm lens with smooth bokeh. Your photos are definately good. I regulary check your site...
