couple of things, that building is amazing, I love that type of architecture, secondly the composition is great too, with the green, green grass and the lady walking past, nice shot :)

Lovely! The colour tone and style go along with the 70'sish look of the building, bright green lawn and blue sky. Even the lady walking pass and the tree are just well composed

i love this one as well, the textures of the grass reflected in the clouds, excellent composition, beautiful colors.

Thanks everybody! Hi Sarah B!!

Yeah 'Pong, I agree with that about the colour, it was intentional. I love that super saturated limited palette of the 60s and 70s, like Technicolor etc.

i have been meaning to comment on this one: fantastic colors/composition!
yesterday, i realized what it reminded me of - the work of one of my favourite photographers, andreas gursky. i could see this one blown up to, say, 4' x 10', up on the wall with the horizon line at eye height...

whoa thanks antje. i loooove gursky, that's a great compliment. i only wish my wee little negs could be blown up that big, or that i had a place to do that kind of thing ;)
