I love this image... Davin at lowresolution did a bit different perspective in black and white -- great captures by both of you -- I love old buildings like this one... Very nice...

thanks Bob. Yeah it was Davin and Gayla's recent CNE outings that got me thinking about going down there. I love that place.

good building, have you cropped a wide angle 35mm?

Yup, serious cropping from a 17mm lens.

Good idea to crop a wide angle shot like that. My panaroma just busted on me so maybe I will fill the void thinking of this technique. This is a classic image.

Food: industrial sized... for your protection. Really interesting panoramic crop on this shot. It really empasizes the sign in relation to the stark industrial look of the building.

I remember seeing davin's photographs of this building but I had no idea it was the FOOD building. What an odd building and an equally odd and non-descript sign. What is the purpose of this building?

If you ever get a chance, check this building out at night. The Food sign lights up, as do the lights on the side of the building. It makes for a really, interesting effect. Very aesthetically pleasing!
