Posted by Zee at July 23, 2004 05:54 PMLovely.. her smile is perfect.
Posted by Tudy at July 23, 2004 06:39 PMi love the fact that she is really not quite smiling but the makeup forces her face into one. that and the incongruous eyeglasses lend a neat irony.

Posted by conrad at July 25, 2004 07:09 PM~this is my cup of tea, candid street shots like this...tons of expression and story in that face, the tones seem just a bit flat, possibly pumping up the contrast a tad would provide a strong impact visually...well spotted, thnx for sharing the shot!~
Posted by btezra at July 26, 2004 10:15 AMyes, i agree it's a bit flat. i did work on it, you should have seen it before! i found that any more contrast and it started to look too "ooh look at the contrasty clown"-ish, if that makes any sense. also i lost detail in her wig. but yeah, if i were to print it i'd probably spend quite a while dodging and burning.
