This is a man at peace. Beautiful capture and focus - the slightly blurred street life behind is a nice background. I love the sharpness on the brim of the hat (on the right side).

thanks everybody. i love this guy. he was indeed at peace. he told me he'd given up thinking about dying, and was just gonna live from now on. i think part of the reason he was so happy was that he'd decided that meant he didn't have to quit smoking afterall :)
