The colours remind me of a polaroid - I don't know why. You've been getting a lot of these great juxtapositions - a subject with some sort of signage or prop - really great stuff..

I always wonder about those 'reputable since..' signs. Does that mean before 1955 it was a place of ill-repute?

It's great how that bit of his shirt is caught in the breeze.

I love the colours in this and how "cigarette" gets listed as though it's a food item.

great shot! the colour is amazing, all the little details work so well, and light is stunning... is that his shadow off to the left?

thanks all!

Kendall, that seems to be an unintentional theme in my pictures. i don't deliberately look for signage, i look for people. maybe it's happening to tie in with the name 'narrative'? for whatever reason, there are sure a lot of words in my pictures.

daisies it really looks like his shadow, but his real shadow is just to the right of him on the sidewalk. i don't think there were two light sources.
