Another fantastic set Matt.

"Mister Mr. Peru" reminds me of "Super Dancer Raul". Have you seen him before?

You keep surprising us Matt. A few days ago I declared this my favorite photo site based mostly on my love of full color vivid urban shots in your archives.

And now this whole a series of B&W with the Portra.

Dammit man, I'm trying to pigeonhole you and you're making it hard!

I love the Portra black and whites. My fave probably was the smoking girl smiling beguilingly into the camera. But some of these Mr. Peru shots are excellent as well.

Keep on truckin

Joe... thanks good buddy :)

as for pidgeonholing me... it's easy: "i'm a guy who likes to take pictures of people".

Aren't Superdancer Raul and Mr. Peru one and the same (both being from Peru and looking alike and all)? I hope so because I haven't seen Raul in a while. I remember him from the food court under the Bay when I worked at Bloor and Yonge, & have a home made book of his poetry custom laminated with packing tape. I think he saved those editions for the ladies, but one of the women from work gave hers to me.
