Stoic would be the word I think.
last group of six were great.
wow. nice contrast. he looks like a statue, well except for the wisps of hair. ;-)
Just noticed a jaggedy edge on the lower right side, where his face meets the sky.
was this shot with a dig camera?
josh: no, but i did futz with the shadows and hilights a fair bit in photoshop and i noticed the same thing... i woulda fixed it but whatever... it's not for print, so yeah.
not a big deal.
i'm wondering if it went jaggedy cause of the scanner, or was it a photoshop thing.
i'm wondering, cause the original is film.
anyhoo. c'est tout.
photoshop did it, for sure. selection edges for contrast adjustments.
josh, i fixed the jaggies :)
I love it! Like the looks of those two. There is no dialog there...
Looks much better, MatteeeO.
just so no one thinks your_waitress is seeing things: there WERE wisps of hair! i tidies this up a little and the hair disappeared as a side effect.
Wow - outstanding shot! Very powerful and beautiful. I really like the way each of them is looking away wistfully.
Matt, I just went through all your pix back to sept 21. All of them have soul; all of them are self portraits. You are are very very talented photographer. Beer next week? I held off on going on the same formate you have--email me.
