nice sewing matto! these last three are perfection. everytime i think i have seen it all you pull off something amazing. thanks.
This looks like Washington Crossing, Pa. I've seen those geese many times, and I've photographed that bridge, but this is a great concept.
You may want to reduce the size a little, or post two sizes - I am viewing this on my laptop and I can't see the whole image without scrolling.
MR Not DUCKS!
thanks yw, glad i still have some surprises left :)
matt, it's not washington crossing but it is quite close by... this is on the jersey side, in lambertville. across the river is new hope, pa. washington crossing is a few miles down river i think. not sure if there is another bridge there. nice spotting!! and sorry about the size but when i made it any smaller i thought the detail just got too murky... you couldn't see the birds at all.
hey dan. um... whaaaat? :)
absolutely amazing. just gorgeous! its so cinematic. I love it!
Gorgeous! It looks like a charcoal sketch. That is a work of art.
Like it. Looks like a sketch, very simple and abstract.
Beautiful shot. There is a great progression from the bottom white (paper quality) to the crisp shoreline, to the faded foggy background, and then back to white. It would make a great large scale print.
This is so... well I just love it.
What a stunning photo! I would never have associated the word "picturesque" with Jersey until this photo :-) (I lived in NJ for 10 yrs.)
Matt, just caught up on your blog and I have to say that this might be the best yet. Such a great picture. Perfect.
