What a beautiful composition. This is the cover of a Travel Brochure.

Like a poster in a travel agency. Makes you want to hop on a plane right away and never come back... Very nicely done, great composure, framing and colour. You instantly want to be the guy under the palmtree...

Killer shot. The silhouettes against the colours of the sky are amazing.

what's wrong with photoshop? would you like to explain that oh cowardly anonymous heckler?

anyway, if you'd care to challenge me to a duel, i'd be happy to recreate this image - or an equally dramatic version - in a darkroom, using the original negative and filters and cardboard.

that purist stuff is crap. developing an image from a negative (or from a digital file) is all light and filters and lenses and rendering, even when you reduce it to a binary file and manipulate the values that way in photoshop. it's all the same damn idea. it's not like i pasted the head of elvis onto the pope and said it was real or something.
