Matt, it's just amazing. Awesome. Are these colors real or the result of heavy post-processing? Anyways, great effect, vivid colors, lovely composition. I adore it. Thanks.

this shot is funny to me becase i've been on the road for close to two months and i'm heading home very soon... i'm at the end of the road.

zoltan: nope, not a lot of post processing, just the usual slight S curve and some colour balance. also i dodged the sky a bit to bring out the clouds.

I am thinking of buying some of your photos and it's getting harder and harder to choose among them!
Everyday, you make it more difficult by adding another amazing photo!
You never can be a good seller!

~this I/eye really like...the vast emptiness and that moody sky, the single sign "end"...an xlnt find for subject matter and I/eye really like the size it is presented here, the large dimension really adds to the impact~

What a great photo. If it weren't for the sign saying END, this would be just another landscape. I love the colors.

Awesome Artistry.. The end of the road, is where life truly begins. Leave the familiar road behind and blaze a new path, knowing once you've stepped off the road you will never want to return. It's clearly not that cliché "blind leap of faith". You can see what is ahead, there is no mystery. It's interesting, the distance to the horizon is so far away it seems almost infinite. It also seems there is no element of time once you pass the road, you can't define the time of day because the sun is absent, and there are no shadows. The clouds seem to be headed where I have been, and don't impact my decision to step forward. I yearn to step off the familiar road.. Psa 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. A very motivating piece of art..
